Terms of Use
Last updated 23 September 2026. Draft — this page will be reviewed before Atomi is available publicly.
These Terms govern your use of Atomi. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you are using Atomi on behalf of a production company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
Beta
Atomi is in active development. Features may change, be added or be withdrawn, and some parts of the product are incomplete. Keep your own records of anything you rely on financially. Do not treat Atomi as your only copy of a budget, a commitment or a cost.
1.The service
Atomi is a tool for estimating, recording and tracking what a film production costs. It produces breakdowns from material you supply, calculates budgets from rates you enter, and records what you and the people you engage have agreed.
Atomi does not negotiate on your behalf, hold or transfer funds, employ anyone, or act as a party to any agreement between you and the people or vendors you engage.
2.Your account
You are responsible for the security of your sign-in credentials and for all activity under your account. Anyone with access to your email can reach your projects. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
3.Acceptable use
You may not upload material you have no right to upload, use Atomi to infringe another party’s intellectual property, attempt to access projects you have not been invited to, interfere with the operation or security of the service, or reverse engineer it.
We may suspend an account that breaches this Section, and will tell you why.
4.Ownership of your material
You retain all rights in everything you upload. Screenplays, budgets, schedules and production records remain yours or your licensors’. Atomi claims no ownership of them, no rights in the films made from them, and no credit, participation or interest of any kind.
You grant Atomi a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to store, process and display your material solely to provide the service to you and those you invite. That licence exists only to operate the product, cannot be sublicensed except to the providers who host it on our behalf, and ends when you delete the material or close your account.
Your material is not used to train artificial intelligence models and is not sold or licensed to third parties. See the Privacy Policy for how screenplays and imported budget files are handled and for how long anything is kept.
5.Our intellectual property
The Atomi software, interface, name and marks belong to us. These Terms grant you a right to use the service, not any right in it.
6.Estimates are not advice
Figures produced by Atomi are derived from data you enter and from automated analysis of material you supply. They are estimates and working aids, not a quotation, valuation, audit, or financial, legal or tax advice.
Automated readings of a screenplay may be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for verifying every figure before relying on it, and for what your production commits to and spends.
7.Records of commitments
A commitment recorded in Atomi is a record of what was sent and what was answered. It is not a contract of employment or engagement, does not create one, and Atomi is not a party to it. The agreement is between you and the person or vendor concerned.
8.Availability
Atomi is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. It is early software: it will change, and it may be unavailable from time to time. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned interruptions do not delete your data.
9.Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Atomi is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, production or opportunity, or for any budget overrun, scheduling decision or commercial outcome arising from your use of the service. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10.Termination
You may close your account at any time. On closure your data is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy. We may terminate access for a material breach of these Terms, giving notice and a reasonable opportunity to export your data except where the breach makes that inappropriate.
11.Changes
We may amend these Terms. Material changes will be notified before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance; if you do not accept, you may close your account and export your data.
12.Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
